Before social networks had stories, back when Vine existed, Foursquare was still relevant and getting noticed by famous people on Twitter and Instagram happened not too often, I interned in the music industry.
I promoted bands and brands on RED’s roster across Greater Boston, both online and offline, including for and at major music festivals. I also leveraged my involvement with my college radio station to boost my efforts, to RED’s delight.
My summer and fall internships culminated in a fantastic trip to New York City during the 2013 CMJ Music Marathon, where I seized the opportunity to build my professional network and attend record label showcases all over Manhattan.
